When I first started my coaching business after leaving a Wall Street career and traveling all around the world on a sabbatical in India, Thailand, Bali, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Nepal…

I settled in the small beachside town of Tulum, Mexico. I began doing in- person coaching work and quickly figured out that my destiny was to reach a larger audience.

I started building my website, created my first course (Spiritual Newbie!), and started offering 1:1 coaching online.   

Secretly, I was exhausted.  Mostly because I wasn’t making enough to pay my bills.

I WAS THE DEFINITION OF HUSTLE: 

➝I was charging a mere $125/hour for my work.

➝I was over-giving like a crazy woman because I was afraid of not being good enough.

➝ I charged only $197 for my first online course and got only 4 women to sign up. Sigh.

➝I was sacrificing love and relationships to work on my business and make it grow (dammit!).

➝I was spending a lot of time doing “free work” because I wanted to serve the people who couldn’t “afford” coaching.

➝I was doing ALL. THE. THINGS. in my business from website updates to graphic design to doing sales calls to scheduling clients to writing posts to bookkeeping and the list goes on.  

My biggest problem was that I was under-selling myself, leaving MILLIONS on the table, and I was running my business from fear and self-abandonment. Let me explain….. 

You can’t run a coaching business if you’re trying to sell $250 sessions or $497 group programs. Even trying to sell a $497 course online is challenging if you don’t have enough traffic.  

And if we’re real, and you’re an EPIC WOMAN, you should be booking AT LEAST $40,000/month in your online coaching business right now. That’s almost impossible to meet if you’re selling 1:1 hourly rate sessions or low ticket courses. 

If you can’t take care of yourself, your health, your nervous system, your family, your love, you definitely can’t show up fully for the transformational work you’re meant to facilitate.
